You're Depressed About Money
If you're stressed and depressed about your finances,
especially now after the plandemic
and the world economic forum's Orwellian nightmare speeches, know
that you're not alone.
Millions of Americans and people globally are in the same
boat. It can be tough to figure out how to get out of the cycle of
debt and poor financial decision-making.
But there is hope: become financially educated and sovereign, so you can exit the
matrix of financial slavery from a system that has existed for
hundreds of years to monetize every aspect of your life.
Know that we have all signed up to be here at this time on
earth so part of the learning curve of this lifetime is to figure
out finances. Otherwise, we wouldn't be here or money wouldn't
exist.
Quite a philosophical and even esoteric statement, that I just
made, however, if you really search within your heart and soul, you can feel that it's
true.
The truth is that money is whatever you want it to be it could
be a source of pain or a source of pleasure,
but at the end of the day based on universal laws, money is an
energetic reward for the value that you provide to others.
It's what others are willing to pay you for, it's what the
universe is willing to give to you - depending on three key
factors:
What do you know, think and feel you're worth?
How do you enthusiastically and with love and persuasiveness
articulate that worthiness while being of service to others?
What value of (goods or services) do you provide in the
marketplace that is unique and important enough for others to pay
you for?
By following some simple steps and making some positive
changes in your life, you can start to heal your finances once and
for all.

Acknowledge your feelings - it's okay to feel stressed and
depressed about your finances
Feeling stressed and depressed about
your finances can be a normal reaction to an overwhelming
situation.
If you’re feeling this way, it’s important to take some time
to acknowledge those feelings.
Reflect on what might be the cause of your stress and find
ways to address it such as implementing more discipline into your financial habits or shifting
your mindset about money.
Maybe it’s coming up with a plan for living within or below
your means or having conversations with loved ones who are able to
provide guidance—whatever it may be, taking these steps can help
ease the burden of financial worry and put you back on track toward
healing your finances for good.
Talk to someone who can help - a financial planner, therapist,
or even a smart friend!
Talking to someone who can help is a key step to peace and
healing when it comes to finances. We all need mentors and guides,
especially when it comes to something as daunting as our bank
accounts.
Finding the right person - whether it be a financial planner,
therapist, or friend - can help you release stress and create a
plan of action.
This can be hugely beneficial in giving you the peace of
mind and security you are
searching for in your finances.
So make sure you reach out for help; it is an invaluable first
step in your healing process.
Make a plan - figure out where your money is leaking: what you
can cut back on?
The key to financial freedom is having a strategy and
thoughtfully following through.
You can start by figuring out where your money is going, and
which places you can cut back on.
Once you have done that, then you can begin optimizing the
places where you do spend, freeing up more of your resources in
order to build wealth; don't let the stress of
your finances weigh you down!
A plan takes time and effort to create and maintain, but it
will be a worthwhile investment in reaching a state of financial
success.
Take action - make small changes in your spending habits that
will make a big difference over time
Taking inspired action is one of the best ways to build a
healthier relationship with money, and start taking control
of your finances.
Making small changes in your spending habits can add up over
time, and make a big difference in your overall financial
health.
Whether it's committing to tracking your expenses each week,
sticking to a budget that works for you, or making adjustments to
improve your financial goals—any effort toward putting yourself in
charge of your money will pay off.
Start now by taking inspired action towards reaching your
goals and be on the path towards healing your finances for
good!
Be patient - healing your finances takes time, but it is
possible to get back on track
Healing your finances is no simple task, and it doesn't happen
overnight. Finding relief from stress and depression related to money
matters can be a slow process, but one that is worth taking your
time with.
To get back on track, generosity is key; start with small acts
of generosity like forgiving debt you feel others owe you.
With generosity in mind, don't forget about discipline — make
sure you're creating a financial plan for how to keep your money
safe and grow it over time.
And with patience, generosity, and discipline working
together, it's possible to truly heal your finances for good.
Make A Plan: Money + Mental Health
Stress and depression related to money matters can take a
serious toll on your mental
health.
If you're feeling overwhelmed by financial worries, it's
important to remember that you're not
alone—and that there are steps you can take to start healing
your finances and finding relief.
The first step to getting your finances back on track is
making a plan. This will help you figure out where your money is
going and what adjustments need to be made in order to reach your
financial goals.
To start, sit down with a pen and paper (or an app like Mint)
and write out all of your expenses.
This includes necessary costs like rent/mortgage, food,
utilities, etc., as well as less obvious ones like subscriptions or
monthly memberships.
Actually, I just use a Google spreadsheet where I have all
money coming in and all money going out, this is otherwise known as
a profit and loss sheet or P&L. I track all my expenses right
down to the penny using the Mint app, which is huge when it
comes to tax time because I can literally run reports on where all
of my money goes...
Once you have a big-picture view of where your money is going,
then you can begin the hard work of trimming those expenses down to
something that you can manage each month.
It's also important to make sure that any debt management
plans are tailored specifically for your needs and resources—and
that they prioritize what's most important first.
For example, if credit card debt has been weighing heavily on
your mind, consider reaching out to a debt consolidation specialist
who can help negotiate lower interest rates on those cards so that
more of each payment goes towards the balance itself rather than
just accruing interest charges.
Lowering the amount of interest being charged each month means
more of your payment will go towards reducing the principal
balance—which in turn will help get more quickly back on track
financially.
NEXT: Take Action
While simply understanding where your money is going may feel
empowering at first, it won't do much good unless you actually
start putting into practice the changes needed for
improvement.
Start small: Make a commitment to tracking all of your weekly
expenses or sticking with a budget that works for you; cut out
unnecessary services such as magazine subscriptions; or adjust
spending habits when possible so that more resources are available
for savings and investments. Any effort towards
taking control of the situation will reward in the long run!
The most powerful thing I've ever seen in my own life, and in
the lives of almost all people I know who have struggled with money
is to take an honest look at where you are wasting money in
exchange for immediate gratification.
If you're spending money on alcohol and crappy food and going
places that you don't even like just because you can't deal with
the fact that your life is uncomfortable then it's time to take an
emotional inventory.
A powerful step for you to begin would be to head over
to joshtrent.com/513 where
I talk about the wellness pentagon, and the emotional inventory
process so you can get clear on where your focus and attention are
leaking out dollar bills from your wallet.
Seriously go there right now. It is a perfect bookmark for you
to do right after this.
Be Patient
Finally, it's important to remain patient and generous with
yourself during this process; Healing finances takes time—no matter
how small or big the steps required may be.
Generosity is key here: start
with forgiving any debt owed by yourself or others; follow through
with discipline by creating a financial plan for keeping safe
what’s yours and growing it over time; reward yourself responsibly
when progress has been made - celebrate success but practice
moderation when it coming rewarding yourself too much!
Reward yourself - once you've made progress, treat yourself to
something special
Achieving financial freedom can be an
incredibly rewarding process - no matter how small the steps! As
you experience achievement and progress, don't forget to reward
yourself for all the hard work and discipline it takes to turn your
finances around.
Whether it is a new outfit or dinner out, giving yourself
something special will encourage you to continue on your journey
while celebrating the achievement of your successes.
Be sure to reward yourself responsibly and not take on more
debt in order to do so: practice moderation, self-awareness, and
planning to ensure that you make lasting changes for a brighter
financial future.
Ultimately, Stressed About Money? The Answers Are In Your
Heart
Tips to cope with debt and depression can lead way towards
healing both psychologically and financially speaking - just be
sure to remember to be patient and generous while doing so!
With dedication comes progress - make sure to keep up with
tracking expenses & setting realistic goals - then stick with
them.
Remember: celebrate successes along the way & reward
yourself responsibly every once in a while.
Every single time you allow yourself to ruminate and stress about money coming in takes you
away from the inspired action place of doing and being so valuable
to the marketplace, and to the people around you that you actually
unconsciously sever the connection between money being given to you
by the universe.
When I say the universe, I don't just mean some pie in the sky
idea that you're going to click your heels together three times and
chant that "there's no place like home."
What I'm talking about is not a fairytale. I'm talking about
the life that you and I signed up for to live well inside of which
requires every aspect of the five sides of the wellness pentagon,
which I teach: mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, and
financial.
What I mean is that you will be such an energetic match by the
service in your heart, and the passion in your
soul, that people could literally not be able to not pay you
because they want what you have or they want what you have to
give.
This has been the hardest learning curve for me in life, and
that is my bank account is a crystal clear reflection of my beliefs
about myself.
And again, not just what other people are willing to pay you
for what you give to them, it's what the universe is willing to
give to you - depending on the 3 key factors I mentioned:
What do you know, think and feel you're worth?
How do you enthusiastically and with love and persuasiveness
articulate that worthiness while being of service to others?
What value of (goods or services) do you provide in the
marketplace that is unique and important enough for others to pay
you for?
This holistic approach helps build a healthier relationship
with money over time + truly get back on track sooner rather than
later...
After reading this...
Where do you feel is the perfect starting point for you to
achieve peace around your money and finances?
You're not alone in feeling stressed and depressed about your
finances - but there is hope.
By reaching out for help, making a plan, and taking action,
you can start to heal your finances and put yourself back on
track.
Be patient with yourself and celebrate your successes along
the way - healing takes time, but it is possible.
