How Sleep Impacts Our Weight & Eating Habits

Quantity vs. Quality Of Sleep

"The standardized quantity of sleep is 7 to 9 hours per day but the reality is that you need a certain percentage of deep sleep and REM. Light sleep is an inefficiency of your body to transition across the different sleep stages and that is where we believe that we can compress your sleep and let you recover faster. At the end of the day, good sleep is strictly connected with your quality. If you can get your 20-25% deep sleep and 20-25% REM, you translate that into minutes and that is what you really need. Deep sleep is more for your physical body and REM is more for your mind." - Matteo Franceschetti
